As a school kid back in the early 1970’s my surfboard building interest quickly grew into a hobby/craft phase as part of its evolution into a fully fledged business operation. Now thirty or so years on I find this same surfboard building interest manifesting itself once again in this hobby/craft kind of way.
 
 
I am committed to producing a small run of Special Edition boards which I glue up and shape in my spare time usually at night or on a Sunday afternoon when the rest of the factory is at rest. Each of these boards is to be a unique one off creation celebrating the very essence of custom surfboard building. The emphasis will be on “Stringer Art”. Part of what makes these boards unique to Surfline is simply that you are unlikely to find a similar offering from another source.
 
 
While I may be being a little self indulgent I think these limited edition boards will speak for themselves in terms of quality and craftsmanship. Keep an eye on this spot to see the release of these unique and beautiful boards over the coming months.
